The audio-launch of actress Jyothika’s comeback film titled as 36 Vayadhinile is to be released in Chennai on Monday (6th April).
Jyothika, who fell in love with and married actor Suriya at the height of her career in the middle of the last decade, is now a mother of two. The actress, who had paired up opposite the likes of Ajith and Vijay in many films, had a couple of films releasing after marriage. They were only films for which she had committed to star before her marriage.
36 Vayadhinile is the Tamil remake of the Malayalam hit film How Old Are You which incidentally was the comeback film of Manju Warrier, who had taken a sabbatical from films after getting married to Dileep. The marriage has since ended in divorce and Manju is back in action in full force in Malayalam films. Rosshan Andrews, who made the Malayalam version, makes his debut in Tamil films as director with 36 Vayadhinile.
Rahman, Abhirami, Prem, Sanjay Bharathi and Siddharth Basu have essayed the lead roles in the film which has music by Santhosh Narayanan. The script is women-oriented and the shoot of the film was wrapped up recently. Post-production work is in progress at present. Produced by Suriya’s 2-D Entertainment, the film’s audio-launch is to take place in Chennai on Monday.
